Denise Grubert, Senior Compliance and Sustainability Consultant
Denise Grubert has over a decade of experience as an environmental consultant focused on sustainability and air quality compliance.
Denise earned a Bachelors’ degree in Environmental Technology with a minor in Environmental Toxicology from North Carolina State University and a Masters’ of Environmental Management (MEM) from Duke University. She is an expert in quantifying Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions inventory and developing corporate strategy for disclosing climate related data. Denise also has experience with designing and implementing holistic environmental data collection and reporting systems, 3rd party validation efforts for environmental data, marginal abatement cost curves, implementing emission reduction strategies, benchmarking studies, stakeholder engagement initiatives, supporting materiality assessments, and submitting compliance reports.
Denise lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible (camping, hiking, and kayaking) and is slowly working towards the goal of seeing all 59 U.S. National Parks. She also enjoys live music, discovering new restaurants and breweries, watching stand-up comedy and spending time with her dog.
