JBE developed a proprietary tool for data collection. The tool is highly simplified so that data can be collected by an employee with limited experience rather than an experienced member of their EHS staff. In this case, our client was able to use an intern. The tool automatically scrubs incoming data to identify errors; this task simplification and automation resulted in a reduction in time commitment, the required experience level of the employee collecting the data, and greatly reduced the potential for error.
With limited resources at hand, our client was able to confidently meet their compliance deadlines within a reasonable budget and free up valuable time for experienced staff by utilizing an intern on site.
