Matt Peak, PE (Michigan), Senior Environmental Engineer
Matt Peak has over 25 years of EHS Compliance and engineering experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. His EHS compliance experience includes corporate and plant compliance management system development (including business requirements analysis), EHS audit program development, and preparation of plans, reports and permit applications (air, water and waste) as required by federal, state, and local environmental regulations. He has developed EHS audit programs for companies in the oil and gas, chemical, automotive, and manufacturing. He has also conducted over 100 audits in North America. He has also integrated IS014001 into an EMS for all company facilities across North America.
He has also managed the development and implementation of technology solutions in the EHS arena. These solutions have included single-facility and enterprise-wide systems, designed to assist in compliance management, data management and analysis, and periodic environmental reporting. He has assisted clients with all aspects of EH&S Management Information Systems (EMIS) including requirements analysis, system selection, implementation, system integration, training, and rollout. He has an expertise in Enablon, Intelex and ProcessMap software. He has worked with facilities covering a wide range of industries such as aerospace, petrochemical, refining, pharmaceutical, utilities, transportation, mining, retail, and food & beverage.
