Investigating Alyeska Pipeline’s Valdez Marine Terminal’s Air Emissions Related to a New EPA Rule

JBE recently presented the results of our Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) study to the Prince William Sound Regional Citizen Advisory Council. The study supports using the current tank vapor recovery system without modification as actually being more protective of the environment than the prescribed regulatory approach. This proved to be a rare circumstance where industry and an advisory council agreed on an appropriate solution.

Our team would like to thank Austin Love for his efforts to coordinate the study on behalf of PWSRCAC. JBE would also like to commend our team, led by Sarah Elizabeth Brown Backes, for its exceptional work. This effort epitomizes what JBE seeks to do – find solutions that are both economical and appropriate for its clients.
