WHAT IS AN EPD?
The standardized language of product sustainability
A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) measures the environmental impact of a product across its entire life cycle. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) communicates those results in a standardized format — so the impacts of two similar products can be objectively compared.

A typical EPD engagement runs 10–16 weeks depending on data availability and product complexity. Here is what to expect at each stage.

We define system boundaries, functional unit, applicable PCR, and data requirements — aligned to your intended use (internal, public, or LEED/Buy Clean submission).

Inventory & data collection
We gather primary production data from your facility and supplement with recognized secondary datasets (ecoinvent, US LCI, industry-specific databases).

LCA modelling & impact assessment
We model your full product system using leading LCA software and apply recognized impact methods (TRACI, CML, EF) to quantify global warming potential and other indicators.
04 — Publish
Verification & publication
The EPD is independently verified, registered with your chosen program operator, and published — ready for LEED submissions, procurement responses, and public disclosure.
